Blobs & Bridges was a jam game made for Extra Credits Game Jam #4.
I was the only artist on the team for this game so I had a lot of control with the style. There was still quite a bit of stylistic development over the course of the jam, originally I wanted it to feel dark and inky but I ended up going with brighter colors and rounder shapes.
This was also my first real time playing with shaders. I used Unity's Shader Graph to achieve the world space texturing with UV scrolling. All of the colors where multiplied with the textures I made so that we could randomly generate colors for the enemies.
Looking back it is for sure over animated and kind of hard to tell what is important but I still like the colors.
